Welcome to Chapel Fields Junior School!

Welcome to our website. My name is Nina Rogers and I am the Head Teacher of Chapel Fields Junior School. I am very proud to be the Head Teacher of our school, and I feel privileged to be responsible for the learning and care of each and every pupil. I am proud of all our pupils, and of all the staff who work so hard to ensure we provide a high quality education in a high quality environment.

We believe in supporting each other; our school motto is ‘Forward Together’ – this reflects the teamwork which we value so highly. We regard the achievements of our school as a team effort – pupils, staff, parents/carers, and governors all play their own unique role in the team. We are a listening school, and we regularly seek the views of all those involved in our school in order to ensure we ‘get things right’ as much as possible. We create a happy, friendly and disciplined environment – visitors to the school often comment about the openness and warmth which they see. We try to provide our pupils with good foundations for learning and attainment within the statutory National Curriculum, whilst providing them with an excellent range of enhancements to their learning. Music, Sport, Art and Drama are all aspects of learning to which we fully subscribe.
